TAG Collective (Pty) Ltd was born out of the desire to see more development and empowerment within the South African Film Industry. Oliver offered partnerships to his long-standing lighting team, Zolani Gojo – Best Boy, Baden Fowlds – 2^nd unit Best Boy, Vincent Nqobo – Spark, and Novel Lewis – Generator Operator. Together they have worked on many international projects and make a formidable partnership. Meeting the industry’s Black Empowerment and Black Business Vendor requirements, TAG Collective continues to grow and invest in equipment, vehicles and the growth and prosperity of the partners.   

With Oliver taking up a consultancy type position within the Collective, the company is actively promoting the partners – both Zola and Baden are starting to Gaffer their own work, under Oliver’s guidance when needed. While Vincent has become the company’s in-house lighting desk operator, and Novel managing power solutions on various projects in and outside the film industry.

The main objective in this very unique and authentic partnership is to see everyone involved reach new heights in the film industry. Collectively we are stronger.
